To support students to present their research at IAFPA conferences.

In order to be eligible for a travel grant applicants must be:
i. A student member of IAFPA
ii. The first or sole author of a paper which has been accepted for a poster or oral presentation
iii. Self-funding attendance to the conference

Financial benefits:
We are offering two travel grants of up to 150 GBP towards costs of travel to attend the IAFPA conference + free conference registration.

The application period is from 14th June to 21st June 2019. Awards will be announced by 28th June 2019.
Applicants should send an email, with the subject line “IAFPA travel grant application”, to the IAFPA student representative account (iafpastudentrep@gmail.com) that states their name and current academic affiliation (if any). The email should be accompanied by a letter from the applicant’s supervisor/institution (if applicable) to confirm that the applicant’s trip is self-funded. Please note that confirmation of acceptance will be sought from the conference organisers.
Awards will be made available to successful applicants after the conference on receipt of the relevant supporting documentation (further details of which will be provided to awardees).

Selection criteria:
Papers of applicants will be reviewed by the IAFPA scientific committee. Evaluations are based on the criteria (1-3) below using a 5-point scale for each criterion and averaged across reviewers. The grants will be awarded to the authors of the two highest scoring papers.
